Ode To A Stranger

18 Apr

Tonight, as I was taking a leisurely walk with my dog in the sunshine after work, I came across a young man whom I’ve never seen before, and was inspired to write the following:

Oh, strange stoner dude,

Changing your tire in front of my house.

Sorry my dog stuck his nose in your buttcrack.

But you really had it comin’.

Get lost, freak.

Pull up your pants.

This has been your introduction to Paula In The Country’s deep, meaningful poetry.

You’re welcome.

Love it! I had someone today, whose car had overheated, steal some water from my house. But I guess that’s alright. He only stole a gallon.
I wanted to thank you for liking my posts! So, here it is! Thank you, thank you, thank you SO MUCH! Now I’m off to do more wacky things to write about. šŸ˜€
    Cheers, Sista’!

I need to do something wacky today to write about. I’ve been lacking in blog-worthy stuff lately. Can one effectively write about running and gardening? Maybe.

Sure! You can trip over a gardening implement while running in your backyard to see a rare butterfly, and end up falling on your face and accidentally getting a clump of dirt containing a worm lodged in your chops.
I once was running on a track at the local high school, and this kid was following me around the track. He was in shockingly good cardio-vascular shape, and I thought he was super cute. I ended up swallowing this huge bug when I was talking to him and laughing. I started choking and almost threw up all over him. I took it as a sign, and left immediately. He was probably a psycho or something. It’s good to have angels with pesky insects at their disposal to watch out for you.
